VFest Calgary: Constantines

It’s no secret that several bloggers on this site have a colossal crush on Constantines, and with good reason. They always put on a rockin’ good show and they’re especially prepared to woo a festival audience.

This was the band’s second Virgin Festival appearance (the first being last summer at Toronto’s second edition) and they drew a pretty big crowd. In addition to Ladyhawk (a Constantines favourite!), they’re the band most often namedropped when randomly asked “who are you most excited to see today?”
