VFest Calgary: We’re Stars And So Are You

At some point in the past few years, Stars became summer festival regulars, and they’ve happily accepted the task of supplying the sweaty masses with a steady stream of sweet pop melodies.

Having seen them at two different festivals in less than two weeks (opening for Death Cab For Cutie two weekends ago at Olympic Island), it’s safe to say that Stars are very well versed in giving fans exactly what they want to hear. Their sets are always total crowd pleasers. They would NEVER make it on a “Ten Things Musicians Do To Piss You Off” list. Here’s their perfect setlist*:

* the only thing that would have made it more perfect would have been if they’d played Ghost Of Genova Heights, but I have yet to hear this played live yet!
