Boy howdy - wait, do people even actually say that? Did I just make that up? Who cares! You know what you should care about? The grandiose awesomeness of day 1! We’re packed up - sun-burned noses, dusty pantaloons and all - and soon to go cuddle with our beds.

I was running around taking pics all day, but I managed to catch some things that made me ver’ happy - number one being M.I.A - KILLER! Dude. When she brought up dozens of the audience to dance onstage with her during “Bird Flu”, I was all, “sheeeeeit. This girl is my new best friend without even knowing it.” Plus, I saw her stretching backstage. That’s rock & roll. Second highlight of the day was seeing Enter Shikari, and meeting my future husband, the drummer. By “meeting” I mean “watching from afar”, but what’s the difference? Plus, they were freaking sick live. SICK!! Third highlight was taking pics of Bjork, and I just wish I coulda done more than the first three songs cause her show is perfect picture insanity. So amazing!

So with that, I say GOOD DAY - and see you tomorrow when the day will be filled with Smashing Pumpkins, sugarplum faeries, Emily Hainses, Stars, shooting stars, A-List stars, Killers, killer sharks with lasers coming out of their freaking heads, and MORE. Please note that some of those things will not actually be included.
