Watch The Video!

I first heard this song when Katy performed it live on MOD and I instantly loved it. Needless to say, when I watched the video, I loved it even more. First of all, Katy looks smokin’ hot in every scene and totally nails the entire look of a woman in the 30′s/40′s. From the hair to the clothing, this girl’s got it locked DOWN. (Kinda makes me feel like going shopping now). I think the look really suits her.

It was very refreshing to see a convincing love story in a music video. The chemistry between Katy and her soldier was definitely there and it sort of felt like I watched a 4 minute movie. I must admit, though, I did think of the ex-bf Travis McCoy squirming in his chair while watching the kissing and rolling around in the bed scenes. Awwwwwkwarrrdddd!

And since we all know the real acting test is whether or not you can cry on cue, it’s safe to say that Katy passed. Yes, you will see tears shed in this video, but not the hysterical runny-mascara kind like in her vid for ‘Hot N’ Cold’…no, no. These are real, heartfelt, sorrow-filled tears.
