Watch the video: Keri Hilson ‘Turnin Me On’

After watching this video, I got to thinking about how many people out there need an in-your-face sign that indicates whether or not you’re interested in them. Whether you’re a guy or a girl, you know what I’m talking about. To the ladies: it’s the guy who steps to you like you’re his biggest fan, just because you accidentally made eye contact with him from across the room, through a crowd and in the dark for about .068 seconds.

Or, for the guys: it’s the girl who thinks that excessive laughter and hair flipping will make you fall in love with her when all you really want to do is…oh, I don’t know, enjoy yourself with people you actually like. I think Keri’s on to something here. The next time you’re being turned on or off by someone, just let ‘em know. I mean, how can you really argue with a ring that spells it out paired with a facial expression that’ll send you running home to your momma? Keri Hilson, you’re my hero. You, and Debbie Downer, of course.

All sarcasm aside, I like this song and I think the video supports it well. For the ladies who are reading this, ‘Turnin Me On’ is definitely for you. If you like seeing an excess of shirtless guys just sorta holding the floor down, with the occasional lip-licking and intense look into the camera, then get ready for a pretty awesome 4:05. And guys, before you start squirming in front of your computer screens, don’t fret. For your viewing pleasure is the lovely and talented Keri Hilson, dressed to kill and ready to dance like it’s Saturday night…or whatever night you like to go out on, for that matter.

‘Turnin Me On’ is a good tune to get ready to or bump in your car. It could even serve as a good Girls 101 lesson for all of those clueless guys out there. Who said learning can’t be fun?
