Watch the video: T.I. feat. Justin Timberlake ‘Dead and Gone’

If you’ve watched T.I.’s new show “T.I.’s Road to Redemption”, then there’s a chance that you’re already feeling like he learned his lesson after his run-ins with the law and maybe you’re even thinking that he has turned over a new leaf. Well, this song is just one more obvious way that T.I.’s showing he’s a changed man…but then again, who wouldn’t be ‘changed’ with a lingering threat of up to 30 years in prison constantly on your brain?

All of that aside, I think the simplicity of this video really intesified the strong message of the song itself. From the quote at the top of the video, to the montage at the end, it’s pretty dramatic and very straight forward. On the music side of things, I know it’s a trend for rappers to be singing their own hooks these days, but thank goodness T.I. checked off the ‘Justin collabo’ option here. I mean, can you imagine a 50 Cent-inspired chorus solo? That would’ve really changed everything…
