Video Poll of the Week: N.A.S.A’s “Way Down”

May 5th, 2009

nasa1

This week’s questionable video comes from N.A.S.A.’s video for “Way Down”. No, it’s not music from space, this hatchling is actually a collaboration-baby between N.A.S.A (which stands for North America/South America) masterminds DJ Zegon and Squeak E. Clean. Their debut record, The Spirit of Apollo, was “nurtured by a shared love of vintage Brazilian soul and funk records”, and features guest vocals from many well-known artists, including Kanye West, Karen O, Method Man, and the ghost of ODB.

“Way Down”, the song in question, features RZA, Barbie Hatch on lady-vocals, and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers‘ John Frusciante rocking the groovy guitar.

Poll Question: What the flying feathers is going on in this video?

a) Birdie Romeo and Juliet <3
b) The Sky is Falling... er, uh, Leaking...
c) Cirque du Soaring
d) Someone had too much Ice Cream before Bedtime
e) Fly-by Pecking Spree Pandemic
f) Something so Tripped Out it Can't Be Described

Leave us your thoughts in the comments, and maybe we can get this figured out…
