Video Premiere for Pittbull and Christina Aguilera’s Feel This Moment

Pittbull and Christina Aguilera have released the music video for Feel This Moment. The up-beat dance song samples the synth riff from Take On Me, by a-ha.

a-ha’s music video for Take On Me brilliantly combined animation and live-action with a story of a couple meeting whilst traveling between the real world and an illustrated one. Feel This Moment honours a-ha’s music video’s by borrowing this key element. One scene shows Pittbull emerging from a door drawn on a wall. Another scene begins with Pittbull performing on stage and ends with that footage frozen as a magazine photo. As nice as it is for Pittbull to pay tribute to one of the most famous music videos of all-time, the song and video don’t even rank on the same level.
