Virgin Festival: Loving Calgary & Wayne Coyne

OK…although I loved Virgin Festival last year (and the year before) this one might be a highlight.

It’s a music festival of many firsts.

It’s the first time I’ve been to Calgary. (and I love it…so sweet and nice, although I’m sweating alot and tempted to have a bison burger). It will be the first time I’ve ever seen STP live and I’m SO EXCITED it’s killing me…although I’m kind of concerned that maybe Scott won’t show but whatever…I love him anyway (reports to follow).

And it is officially the first time I have admitted to myself that I am fully in love with Wayne Coyne (charming, eccentric, beautiful leader of The Flaming Lips)…I had to restrain myself from actually assaulting him with a kiss on his beard…sadness…also he’s married and no one likes a homewrecker…but Kat and I are going to take him up on his offer to perform onstage with the band via giant stuffed animal costumes…
