Virgin Festival Ontario: Lineup

Weeks and weeks and weeks of waiting, and it turns out that the Nine Inch Nails leak is probably the highlight of Ontario’s V-Fest. A partial lineup was announced this morning and there are some gems for sure - Grizzly Bear, The Pixies, Franz Ferdinand, N.E.R.D. (for me!!!!) - otherwise we’re feeling kinda lukewarm about it so far. Can’t wait to see who gets added to the bill!

And remember kids, VFest isn’t a Toronto Island spectacular anymore… it’s in Barrie. Eeeeek. So if you’re psyched about the lineup so far, start planning your weekend! Who’s gonna be camping, huh?!

  2. I’m actually pretty excited about this line-up. I missed Grizzly Bear, Cold War Kids, Franz Ferdinand, the Von Bondies, and (especially) Mew the last time they were in town.

    Might actually truck out to Barrie for this. Huh. Never thought I’d say that.

  4. I definitely oppose a concert going up north. Reminds me of the Warped Tour back in Barrie (which I didn’t attend, but was lobbying to have the tour being held in the Toronto area).

    Warped has since gone back into Mississauga, which is close to Toronto - enough.
