Those poor finalist. I think in any reality show, their expectations is never met up. They never find the poster boy or girl that they were looking for, and you can only hope that some big scandle makes it awesome. To true, on the surface, these people seem 'different' but over all, pressed into this jam called canadians. Its like the people I went to highschool with. Yet, I hope when they get into the mansion, and see their personalities clash against one another, it will be worth the watch. In all honesty, I'm looking for someone intelligent, and not someone who is just pretty or cute. I'm rooting luke, "Germany is kind of like the future", who can beat that? - Shato

I have a special request. I recently noticed that VJ Tim has a huge lead in the "poll-o-matic". Why?? Did anyone see any substance in this guy?? Ohh right, it's because Tim was asked to take off his shirt on national television, which he BARELY had enough confidence to do. Tim may have the washboard abs of every teenage girl's dreams, but said very little about himself and couldn't quite handle the pressure of being on a digital video camera at the mall. Why he is in the final 20 I'll never know. Muchmusic needs someone opinionated, encouraging young viewers to be media literate so that every January we don't end up with the one guy who takes the lead cause he showed a bit of skin on TV. One look at this guy's application and you'll see what I mean. Ex: "Why should you be a Much VJ? I love music. I listen to a lot. I'm also in a band. I am big into style?". That's the absolute best answer he could come up with?? This guy is going to replace the intelligent, witty and political George Strombalopalousagusafice??(Sorry about the spelling George) My request is that you prove me wrong. Show me, along with every other media literate person in Canada, that there is a substance to certain people in this competition like Tim and others. And would it kill Muchmusic to have a funny VJ? I mean the closest thing we've had is Matte Babel. Don't get me wrong, I think Matte is one of the best VJ's to date, but he's not exactly a comedian. And last, I'd like to point out two hopefuls (currently in the bottom 10) that jumped out and screamed VJ at me, the first being Rebecca from Edmonton. Her interviews with high profile Canadian artists like Bif Naked and Theory of a Deadman show that her interview skills are superior then all other finalists. The second one is Erik from Burnaby. His audition tape showed his confidence and comfort level while being on camera. He seems the most relaxed, least camera shy and least likely to crack under pressure. I can't wait to see how it all unravels, but I certainly hope that our newest VJ deserves it.

Thanks everyone here....Maddy, I agree, something has to be done. We need someone with INTELLIGENCE, among other traits, and I agree with you that, so far, Tim is only showing looks. We haven't seen deep enough into ANY of the 20 yet.But I'll test Tim on the show next week, push him, put him on the spot. Let's see if he shows us some brains.

WELL, It seems that Maddy has no idea how television works. Its true that Tim wasn't as confident as he could have been, maybe he was just walking through the mall that day and did the audition for sh*ts and giggles, never knowing it would take him this far. Regardless of his musical knowledge the producers think that him being in the top 20 is a good idea. As much as someone THINKS they know whats going on, I'd rather leave it to the producers and Judges. Don't forget Maddy, a lot of teenage girls watch MuchMusic, ever notice how Southbeach has horrible acting but yet people tune to it every week?

I'm honestly just really badly wondering if this show's scripted. Because it is reality, and reality usually means scripted. Come on, if I was in a house like that, I wouldn't turn into bitchzilla or super dick. I'd just keep to myself. Cause honestly, they aren't there to make friends, and they really shouldn't be there to make enemies either. They shouldn't have to focus on the other people to be able to win. I have to agree with Dark Goddess' idea of the 1 on 1 match with you: simply because you have this weakness radar that catches people off guard and forces them to be honest with themselves.

I think that you are a good judge and what you say really does stick with the VJs and gives them something to work for, but I've noticed something when you put people in the bottom three, and it's this one question:

"Who should be in your place in the bottom 3?"

Okay, that's uncalled for. That's just asking for the VJ hopefuls to turn against eachother. If Frank hadn't been sent off the air, I'll bet he would have beaten Erik to a pulp after they went back to the Penthouse. Really, it's just making them even angrier then they already were.
