You should'nt be afraid to ask for help. If your blind to the situation then ask to borrow some glasses. Simple huh? I really really REALLY don't see what you now all of a sudden see in Eric. I was sure from your criticism in Ep3 that you were onto him and that he wouldnt get away with any more shit. Apparently I was wrong. Does happen from time to time but its a real bitch when it does. If you listened to what Molly had said about Tim's interview you would see why everyone is confused by your decision. You on the panel say that different is what is expected as a Much interviewer and thats exactly what she said that Tim brought to it was a different style. Is this not a contradiction then by booting them off for doing what your telling them to do? Yes you will be TOTALLY shown by the country that you were all wrong about Tim when we vote him back on. ok, i have been extremely dissapointed with the judges throughout this whole show. I just finished watching what tim and casey jo thought about being kicked off. and they said some stuff about the expert panel that is completely true. for example, you judges are always contradicting yourselves. like steve anthony is going on about one thing and robin will cut him off and then disagree. and then when traci said the final words to the bottom 3 she said "tim, you really havent improved as much as your competitors" when robin just said that tim and nikki improved the most. if you guys cant come to a consensus then dont be judges. truth is, you judges are starting to look like a joke, no one takes you guys seriously anymore, and i sure as hell dont. as well as, tim didnt want to flirt with molly because 2 weeks ago traci melchor had a bitch fit at the girls for acting like groupies, and you even said eric couldnt pull that off but how is tim to know if he can or not, i wouldnt take that chance. And do you honestly think erik, nikki, and sean are the best 3 in canada let alone out of all 10 of the finalists. first off, sean is okay he is kind of funny, but he is also annoying. can you see him interviewing a rapper talking about divas and how fabulous he is? they would think they were being punk'd by ashton kutcher. and for nikki, i dont care what anyone says, she is boring and bland and definitly not interesting not to mention she is annoying. and truth is she really isnt different then any other girl muchmusic vj. and as for erik, where do i start. ive had it with you making up excuses about how good he is and choose to ignore the fact that EVERYONE hates him. he is fake, annoying, and is a big actor. he never got along with anyone. so stop bullshitting us, honestly its getting tiresome you guys defending him. and i can not believe that you think people are scared or jealous of him because thats bullshit. tim was the best vj wanabe ever! and you were to stupid to realize it. casey jo wasnt bad either she was definitly better then the current final 3. tim actually wanted that job for the music unlike eric. tim was interesting and i would actually wanna watch him on much. I am very sure it hasnt been easy for the judges. If you watch the episodes carefully and read some of their blogs, when one has to go it affects them just as much as it does us. You are correct on the contradicting item and that needs to be addressed by them. It is also true that it is complete horse hockey when they say that everyone is scared of Eric and thats why they all "gang up" on him. All of Canada has seen Eric's antics from the begining and I am sorry but that many people can't be wrong. You know its gotta be sad when one has to show his ass on TV to get noticed and follow that up with being an ass as well. But thankfully WE have the final say in this matter and be assured it will be listened to.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for you and the rest of the judges. For the most part, I have more than agreed with your choices and comments. The comment about the other contestants being scared of Erik kind of irked me a bit though. Yeah, they're scared of Erik; frankly I am too. I'm scared that if he was to obtain the position of VJ, that he would destroy what Muchmusic has worked so hard to achieve. I'm scared that he would turn off current and potential viewers with his cocky showmanship and his "holier than thou" attitude. I think its very clear that he doesn't have the music knowledge that many of the others have, and I seriously doubt his integrity and sincerity. As a Muchmusic viewer, would I watch him flaunt himself as a VJ? Likely not (unless it was to laugh at his sorry ass, and then I'd happily change the channel). I hated to see Tim go, if only for the fact that he was the most likeable person on the show, and in the end, above and beyond everything else, I think that THAT is the most important quality for a VJ to have. You seriously made a mistake letting that one get away, and I can only hope that Canada makes the right decision and places him into the Top 4 where he belongs. Sure he doesn't have the proper interviewing skills...those can be worked on. But when you see that the celebrities that he is interviewing can say nothing bad about the guy, and they truly enjoy their interviews with him, that speaks volumes...Just a little rant and some food for thought! Give Erik a fat kick in the ass and smarten him up if you so desire him to be a contender, as it stands, I think his fan base is waning...

I don't think Tim's "skills" are underdeveloped at all. Anyone else as genuine a character as he is would be equally as intimidated by the first celebrity they interview or a camera in their face. He came off as the most sincere, mature, honest, and musically INCLINED and INFORMED person in the competition! I seriously do not know how you guys let one pesky little interview with a supermodel define Tim's future when Erik, who's been in the bottom 3 already, had the privledge to stay. & I do mean privledge, cause he doesn't deserve to be there.

I, along with millions of other viewers can guarantee that Tim would be the best VJ as muchmusic if you gave this to him.

First, thank you SO much for being a fun and refreshing judge, who isn't afraid to say what you think...I respect the pressure you guys are under, and it must be hard to align 4 different people's opinions on one person to be the next VJ. I just want to weigh in and beg you not to choose Eric. The guy's a wad, and I promise,I am certainly not scared or intimidated by him. I don't know what demographic y'all are trying to reach, but I am female, 24, from BC, and into most every type of music in some way shape or form, and this guy makes my teeth hurt. i'm just a little confused? what was the point of having reality show if you don't take any of the aspects of it into consideration. erik is playing the game and he is playing it well, but that only accounts for the compitition. however when he's in the penthouse when he's talking one-on-one to people everyone can see that he's an asshole. you pushing him forward because he does well in the challenges but at the same time you're exposing how much of an asshole he is to the whole country. and maybe i can't speak for everyone but i know that i don't want to watch someone who i know is dick hosting my favorite tv show. yes i know that the viewers have a final say but considering that the majority of those who vote are going to base their votes on the contestants personality shouldn't the expert panel take that into consideration as well? and did you not kick both Larissa and Frank off because of their attitudes and inablility to connect with the people they work with?

the viewer's polls indicate how few few people really want Erik in the show and how many want Tim who you kicked off. yes the VJ is needs to be talented they need to be comfortable in front of the camera they need to be professional they need confidence but they also need the support of the people who are going ot be watching them. Tim was the person that the majority of the country wanted as their VJ and now he's gone.(for now)

I don't envy the job you have to do each week (breaking someones heart) but I do believe I could break Erik's for ya if need be. The guy stinks, I have a hard enough time watching some of the existing Much vj's now but I can stomach them, I cannot stomach Erik. He needs to be put in his place ! Please pass this on to Steve, Traci and Kardi because Erik needs to go away and fast. Judging by the rest of the blogs i've read over the past few weeks I'm not the only one who feels this way. First off, last night while waiting for the VJ Search to come on, what to my wandering eyes appeared? Why The Academy Is… on The New Music. It’s nice to see that there’s still one show attempting to at least open the eyes to the viewers of MuchMusic on the different kinds of music out there today.

Also, was I the only one who found out that MTV is coming up here to Canada yesterday? Is it going to have the same programming as MTV in the US? And what channel is it going to be on?

Onto the show now. Casey-Jo said that her self esteem was getting worse and worse? What the fuck? Psh, I have low self esteem, diagnosed by a doctor, and she still has higher self esteem then me when she has ‘low self esteem.’

I loved how Sean said that Aaron and Nick Carter don’t count, well hardly count, as celebrities.

I know that Amanda gave them some advice, but why don’t you have them meet up with George? He’s one of the most well known VJ’s Much has ever had.

Was I the only one who noticed that Sean was the only one who was honest, and spoke up, when Amanda asked them if they were interested in meeting Molly Sims. Even big mouthed Erik didn’t say anything, of course after that we couldn’t get him to shut up about his interview and how hot Molly Sims was.

His whole thing on ‘the incorporating of light and dark colours’ was total bullshit; thank God Kardinal called him on that. When he was asking her what her ideal guy was like, that was so sleezy, and just…. Eww. When he also said that he wouldn’t care if she was ‘the ugliest person in the world…’ that was total bull shit, call him on that dam it!

When Casey-Jo was interrupting Molly Sims left, right, and center that was /so/ rude, didn’t her mother ever teach her any manners? You are right though, that awful haircut that she got was the beginning of her downfall.

Both Erik and Casey-Jo crammed /way/ too much into their interviews, slow it down, go with the flow, and it will be /so/ much better.

I have a question/something to think about. Why did Molly slam Tim on not asking her anything about music, when Nikki didn’t either?

I liked Sean’s idea to buy her a sundae, it was nice gesture. Also his questions on the Cover Girl sleep overs, and the green M & M commercial were neat/different questions, why didn’t you compliment him on that?

Nikki was lucky that she got the fashion/clothing clothing shop, because it really put her in her element, and I think it helped make her more relaxed, and less nervous about the cameras and everything. Her idea to wear the Cover Girl finger nail polish was a really smart idea just like Traci said. This interview was Nikki’s best by far.

It really pisses me off how Erik really thinks that Molly liked him. Get the fuck over it, it was a gesture! Nothing more, nothing less, plain and simple. She does not heart him.

One thing about Tim, he appreciated this /so/ much, a fuck of a lot more then Erik. Sean is right when he says Erik is using this as a stepping stool, how can you not see that?

I am happy, glad that Nikki is going to stay out there and continue to pursue her dreams, she should. No one should just give up on there dreams because they get turned down once, or even ten times, keep on going if it’s what you really want.

You were right on your assessment on Casey-Jo on the show, which was her to a tea.

How could you think that Erik did a good job on the whole art gallery thing? He was TERRIBLE. Why didn’t you back Kardinal up when he said that Erik is generic? I thought you were going to call things like they were, and with Erik you haven’t been doing as good a job as you have with the others.

Your little mellow-dramatic tossing of the cards was a nice touch by the way, as was your comment to get rid of ‘Anthony’ as you call him, but whom most of us refer to as Steve. I also liked how you said that Tim could get away with the comment on the leather, and could have responded to that, unlike Erik because it really did look like he wanted to have sex with Molly.

I did dislike how Casey-Jo said that she wanted to get rid of you, just like how back in Edmonton she asked Kardinal if he really liked you. Psh, someone is jealous of someone else’s wardrobe, remember the hat incident?

You’ve said a couple of times that you think the other potential VJ’s get upset/mad/angry/argue with Erik because he hustles, and he’s their competitor. No, they get upset etc/ because you always defend him, except for the first episode, that’s been pretty much the only time when you haven’t defended the guy.

I am glad though that you guys did get rid of Casey-Jo, it was her time to go. I am not however, happy that Tim left. No, like I have said numerous times before, I do not think he is cute. I do think that he is a nice, honest, reliable, shy, down to earth etc. guy, just generally a good/decent guy who knows MUSIC. He should not have left before Erik. No, I don’t want him to win, but I do want some other person from another channel, MTV perhaps? To see him and realize he has talent, and potential in this business, unlike Erik.

Tim was also right when he said that there aren’t enough nice people in the world. He was so right. There really aren’t enough nice people in the world, and it would be nice to see another genuinely nice VJ up there with the other genuinely nice VJ’s.

I’ll be honest with you that fear that was planted in the back of my head last week, is starting to grow. I really am thinking that Erik is only being kept because he’s keeping the ratings up, tension in the penthouse, and just generally makes for good ‘Reality’ TV.

Tim will be getting my vote to come back, along with a lot of other people that I know.

I really was thinking too how did Casey-Jo turn into this person that she is now, but I already sort-of said that above. And it is unfair about the hair cut. I think you guys should have allowed for her to get her hair fixed, or SOMETHING. If my hair had been destroyed like that, like I’ve said before, I would be terribly upset. And to anyone that says, “It’s just hair.” Bullshit, it’s not. Hair is a way in which you can express yourself, make yourself stand out, make yourself fit in etc.

All of Tim’s skills that are underdeveloped could be, and probably would have, improved if given just a little bit more time.

Thank you for acknowledging all of the improvement Sean has done, while still remaining Sean. Why can’t you say it to him? You only seem to give him a dash of a compliment, and then pour on what he’s doing wrong, while you do the complete opposite to Erik.

Thank you for finally addressing the way people, on the boards and blogs, and Erik, have been treating Sean’s sexuality. It is fucking 2006, and people NEED to stop with all the hating. Ryan, just like Robin said a couple of episodes back to Sean, they are going to contradict each other. Don’t you and your friends like some different types of music? Everyone has different tastes. Each judge is representing a portion of the MuchMusic viewer population. I do take Robin seriously, as well as the other judges, but especially Robin, he’s so passionate about this, and that shows that he cares, and that is uber important. I also think that you’re forgetting that there are other MuchMusic VJ’s. Just look at who interviews who right now, it’s all planned out, trust me. Also, put yourself in their shoes, your oh-so judgmental, but could YOU be any better then THEM? You would get shit from people too; we all have different opinions, and tastes like I said before.

Chris, Devon’s ‘style’ is just that. HIS. No one should tamper with someone else’s style. You wouldn’t want me to come and put you up in black jeans that are tight, and a black tee shirt that says ‘I like a guy in eyeliner’ in hot pink, with a pair of black Chuck Taylors and three belts, and put on heavy eyeliner, and black eye shadow. Well you might, I’m not sure on that, but if you do like that sort of look, but then change it to something that you would hate. Not cool.

Expert Panel, huh? I dont understand why you guys keep kicking off the people who have the most fans in this competition. Viewers should have been able to vote from the first episode. We're the one's watching muchmusic everyday, so i think we should at least be able to choose 1 vj.

I am going to repeat what I have said before "Robin put DeadForLife and myself on as judges"!!!!!!!!! But the most hilarious thing in all of this is that the panel complained about lack of music questions in the interviews but yet there has been a lack of music knowledge testing in any of the challenges. Contradiction is running rampant. Now it may just be me but I see an alliance forming between Eric and Nikki which could prove disastrous for Sean but we still have the Wild Card (Tim in case everyone needed reminding) witch should put a kink into it. Oh yeah Ellie, you might not think Tim is cute but he is easy on my eyes not to mention his personality puts the icing on the cake. Why are all the cute ones straight and far away grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

obviously the judges see something in him.. and i see it aswell. He has excellent interview skills and yes, Tim was cute and lovable but his skills were just not up to par. Has anyone noticed that he says "you know" in every sentance.. im sure you have. So don't kid yourselves; the judges arent basing this competition on who's the most loveable person, they're basing it on who has the most skill. I think Erik deserves it; so all you bitches fuck off.
By the way Robin; i think you're doing an excellent job as a judge. Keep up the good work! and although i'm sure you dont care what a bunch of teenagers think about you, don't listen to any of the haters =D

Another interesting thing I would like to point out is if you look at Eric's blog there is a long list and only 3 supporters. Then look at Tim's and it is already a mile long with only 1 negative comment. I think that kinda spells it all out right there. Gotta love Canadians for their passion and intelligence.

OH OH OH Jessica you do not want to go there. This is a competition to have a person represent the country's music. If I thought for a moment that MuchMusic wanted a car salesman to fit that bill then I would have saved them the trouble and phone Ford Canada to send someone over. I am sorry if it upsets you that the people of this country sees your little boy toy for what he really is. And just to make your day a little better, Tim's comming back so if you see a sale on kleenex, stock up now.

Sorry Robin, you're a cool guy and all, but I think you just made a LOT of people extremely angry at you. You judges made a huge mistake voting off Tim and mark our words, he'll be back like Arnold Schwarzenegar.

Here are my thoughts on the last show.

-I agreed with the judges choices on who had to go.

I really liked Tim.
Like the crazed reality show viewer that I am I moaned out load while watching his interview with Molly. I said: "Shes leading the interview!" I said :"Tim don't forget to breathe!" I knew Tim had the possibility to get cut after that interview. All the good things that have ever been said about Tim are true. When it comes to performance he didn't cut it.

I liked Casey-Jo at but I wanted her to go. The negativity was rampant and she kinda lost herself. I agree with you Deadforlife they shoulda let her fix her hair. I used to be a hairstylist and I can honestly say I've never made a client cry in my chair. I always did a thorough consultation and tried to be true to what they envisioned for themself. My hair currently looks a lot like Casey-Jos pre-Jie hair and I'd be a mess if it was cut into that thing she got.

I can tell you right now that I don't want Erik to become the next much music VJ. I do admire his drive. I don't like him taking credit for other peoples ideas as previously mentioned. He would kinda be a cookie cutter VJ kind like that Sugar Ray guy. Hes good looking he schmoozes and seems comfortable in the interviews. I want someone a little more like someone I can envision as a friend. Someone more accessable.....Someone like Sean. He has humility he is true to himself. I like Sean.

I also like Nikki. I'm glad they are in the top 3.

For the Wildcard....I don't know. It'd be cool if the Wildcard encompassed the top 20 because I'd choose Luke to come back. Remember Luke? The red-haired funny well-rounded prairie farmer? Me likes Luke.

I think you're a great judge Robin. I tried to go see you in concert one time probably in 2002. You and the Intergalactic Rock Stars got stuck in Winnipeg so you could not make it to the Rev in Edmonton. I will definitely try to make it next time you're out.

First off let me say that I think you're a really good Expert, Robin. You lay it out in the open and you have some really good advice.

I was disappointed with the last illimination though, on a number of counts...first of all, unless it was planned to get rid of two of them on the 8th episode no matter what, I don't think either Casey-Jo or Tim should have been voted out, nevermind both of them.

I really liked Casey Jo at the beginning, and I think that the personality she showed there was what she would have brought to the show. I feel really bad for her because of the whole hair thing....the entire point of that makeover was to get their own styles accented proffesionally. That 'Jie' guy didn't want to take what they said into account at all, and he didn't let Casey bring her own style out. It went downhill for her after that and I feel bad for her.

Tim, though, was my favourite hopeful on the show. On top of having tons of potential talent, he was such a nice person and it's nice to see that on TV. He was one of the ones that was actually learning and progressing throughout the show, which is really what it's all about. I don't think it's fair at all to scold him for not flirting with Molly after Nikki and the other girls got yelled at for acting like groupies. Tim was being proffessional.

And then there's the whole matter of Eric. I honestly don't know what you see in him. To me and everyone else I know who watches he seems like such a fake, and Canada doesn't want him to be the next VJ. Unless something miraculas happens there's no way he'll be voted the winner at the end, so why not give the others, who people actually liked, a chance. Being a viewer and not seeing everything that goes on, it could be just biased footage, but judging by what the other hopefuls keep saying, that's unlikely.

Anyway, it must be hard to be an Expert and be held responsible for everyone you vote off. I still love you as an Expert. ;)

I don't understand a lot of the comments that fans have posted.

Tim was by far my favorite. It was clear that he was very sweet, honest and genuine and he IS the person I will vote back on to the show. That said, I understand why he unfortunately had to go. I think it was Steve Anthony who said that in six months, yeah, Tim would "have it" but for the purpose of this show, the winner has to be someone that already has so much FULFILLED potential that it won't be necessary to train them from scratch. As much as Erik irritates me (and believe me, HE DOES!), I understand that at this point, he's the one who has his shit most together and will require the least training and coaching if he's hired as a VJ.

A lot of the comments on this board are weird. If you were an employer and you needed someone to fill a vacancy, would you want a guy who'll be able to do the job six months down the line OR do you want the person who can start tomorrow and require little training?

Be realistic: you'd pick the guy who can start tomorrow.

Now, imagine you're an employer and you asked your employees (aka US, the audience!) who they would most like to work with, and they unanimously chose the guy who would be good six months down the line. That's justice, my dears!

We all like Tim. The judges like Tim. Molly Sims LOVED Tim ;) And we're going to have the opportunity to vote him back on. So stop ragging on Robin and the judges for doing what was HARD TO DO but necessary and just vote Tim back on! The judges can't make their decisions based upon likeability. If being likeable was the only criteria, Tim would have won this thing hands down. The judges could have sent everyone else home right away. But that's not the case. This isn't a jokey competition: they are looking for the next Much Music VJ, for pete's sake!

As for Erik being "fake," I'm sorry. The guy irritates me for a LOT of reasons, but his alleged "fake-iness" isn't one of them. Erik irritates me primarily because he's a capable, driven, hard-working person who does NOT have the likeability factor that Nikki and Tim had/have. That makes him an easy target for everyone to crap on. The truth is that the guy deserves to be in the final three, NOT because he's likeable (he isn't) but because when you work your ass off in life, you deserve to be rewarded for it. That is NOT to say the others haven't worked their asses off, but Erik has far more working against him than any of the others do. He was everyone's easy target. The othes are terrified of him and exaggerate what he's like (and apparently, the people who post here buy that line of crap -- hook, line and sinker). So his hard work makes him stand out far more than anyone else's.

The reason I would LOVE for Tim to be the next VJ (and why I'm voting him back on, with the HOPES of him stepping it up and impressing the hell out of everyone) is because he would bring something to MuchMusic that we don't see right now: a very personable, likeable, friendly, kind, genuine personality. I think that once he got his interviewing skills down, he would be a KICK ASS addition to the MuchMusic family.

Oh, and one final note: Robin is trying to be the Simon Cowell of this show? Give me a break! It's not Robin's fault that he calls it like he sees it. One of the reasons why I like this show so much is BECAUSE the judges -- Kardinall, Tracey, Steve AND Robin -- don't let these contestants get away with anything! Tracey called the girls out when they made that stupid "We so dumb!" clip in Edmonton. Robin called CJ out for the idiotic "douchebag" comments she made (which was soooo unprofessional and childish that I'm amazed she wasn't booted for it). Kardinall called Frank out on his attitude and HIS own phoniness. Nobody is trying to be Simon Cowell OR Paula Abdul or anybody else. They're looking for a VJ, dammit -- but sometimes I think ONLY when they join the "I hate Erik" bandwagon will the judges get the respect they deserve. Do you REALLY think the judges don't know what a slick operator Erik is? Come on! They know damned well what Erik is about but they also know THAT HE IS DOING A GOOD JOB. It sucks, but that's the real world.

Being a fellow Tim supporter I would like to clarify a few things in your response. Overall it was insightful, at times provocative, and overall good. However, the part about the employer and comparing us to a US audience was wrong. A. I would hire based on a few more things such as willingness and ability to learn, able to be a team player, and honesty. Next point. Can you tell me why Eric doesnt have the "likeabilty" factor? If you have paid attention to the series so far like the rest of the country has you would have your answer. See, Eric has made his bed and now the counrty is going to make him lie in it. To invalidate other's posts in here because "they buy that line of crap -hook, line and sinker" just proves my point earlier that you need to re-watch the series a few more times and pay attention. And finally the judges. You said "I think ONLY when they join the "I hate Erik" bandwagon will the judges get the respect they deserve" If you have read all of the responses in here you wouldnt have made that statement. But you hit it bang on when you said Vote for Tim.

I am not going to bash you or the judges. However I am truly disappointed that Tim got the boot. Tim may have some looks, but IMO he has huge potential and star quality. In my mind he is very similar to Devon. I look beyond someone's looks and found Tim to be the most true person in the competition.

I am confused as to how this wildcard voting thing works. I couldn't watch the whole show last night as I knew in advance Tim had got the boot. I'll check in here and tune in next week to find out how I and my friends can get involved in getting Tim back for wildcard.

Robin, my friends went your show at the Horsehoe on the 17th. They sent me videos and pictures and you guys were great. "Starboy" should have picked my friend for the ******. Donnie D here. I almost fell asleep during the interviews with Molly Sims - although she was a class act. I do think Eric did a good job. I wanted to loan Molly some tape as Casey Jo wouldn't shut up (how unfortunate as she probably has the best potential as an interviewer of those cast in the bottom 3. The eager beaver was lost and I also agree never more so since her haircut. She's not herself -she is what she thinks this contests wants her to be.) Tim was never sexier, way more than Eric, but that's not what this contest is about. I knew those 3 would be in the bottom 3 and when it was said two would go home I knew it would be Casey Jo and Tim BUT I DIDN'T WANT IT TO BE THAT WAY.. Before the surpise ending, I actually thought, what reason have I to come back to watch the rest of the season? To watch a fag (I can say that - I am one!) a jock and a princess duke it out! Lord, I've been watching that all my life and it bores me to tears!!! (Sorry, I digressed - I shouldn't be talking about my family-it's not about me!) Ok, Tim - I couldn't believe he said one of the reasons he should be on is 'cause he is nice. I wanted him to just talk about himself - his talents, his strengths, 'cause he has them. I so want his butt back there next week - but honestly, I also want to vote for Frank, even though I so wanted him off the air. After his exit, I watched his audition tape - god, he has talent. What a fool to let his arrogance and ego get in the way. Casey Jo also did an awesome audition tape. And Eric's was superb. Even so, I don't watch Much Music for a vj. I'm more interested in who they are interviewing. I am older but I prefer the golden years of Much with Steve, Erica, JD Roberts etc. Many of the current crop are bland. So who of the top 3 + whoever could make a difference? To be honest, I think many of those who have been voted off. ie, Nathalie. So, she didn't want to be in front of camera...there are so many that are on air these days who would only wish to have her attitude, honesty and moxy. She certainly wanted to enough to audition, to survive to top 10. Canada rethink who you vote for. You might end up being stuck with them for a long time to come!

Well it sux major that Casey-Jo got the boot... but my boy Sean is in the final 3! I'm convinced that he has what it takes to become the next VJ and will totally kick ass. Yeah well to be honest Erik is truely starting to get on MA NERVES. It's true that he's good at getting people's attention and does complete all the challenges(selling the t-shirts)rather well but I find his interviews crap! I mean common, stiff valley down there. I gotta say I think you guys made the right choice kicking Casey-Jo off. She was getting worse week by week. Tim on the other hand,well there were others who should have gone before him. I know where you guys wre coming from though. Tim did have potential but he seemed kind of shy and nervous in his interview. His interview was not the best but it definately wasn't the worst either. Sean and Nikki did really well this week. Both of their interviews looked very natural.They made it seem like they were just having a normal conversation rather than conduting an interview. That being said, the channel is called much MUSIC. Nikki really should have asked a question about music even if it was "What's your favourite band?" or "Do you play an instrument?" And I hate to say it but Erik also did well this week. The idea of drawing was pretty creative. Overall, I think that Sean dfinately had the best interveiw. By the way, I loved the Ramones shirt! They kick some major ass!

You said to Nikki in the elimination part that this is a music show and that she didnt even ask a music question. After reviewing the show again the simple fact is NO ONE did but yet Molly said that Eric did. We did not see it. Who ever is editing this show for you is either overpayed or I want some of what he/she is smoking. In fairness for the country to make an informed decision as to who we want as a VJ, wouldn't it be prudent if we are presented with all the facts and not just a few. Food for thought.

Robin Black your the best thing that Much has done in along while.....first off your f***king amazing. I am sooooooo glad that Frank the arrogant loser is off and while I do like Casy Jo she is a major bitch and Eric may play the part but he is slimy and sneaky. Tim is way too sweet and reserved and in this job you have to somewhat be a cutthroat.. Sean the most fun to watch would be friggin awesome as a VJ ...he definately is pure pleasure to watch..... Go Sean you have my vote I am now offically apart of the Sean FanClub.....

Robin I think you're doing an amazing job. You're giving exactly the right criticism that the vj hopefuls need to step up their game. I mean look at Nikki, at the beginning you used the whole thing about her being boring and bland and she's really stepped up from that and shown that more entusiastic side to her.

The only thing I really have to disagree with you on is Erik. He has done a good job so far and has proved to have certain vj qualities but if you've been keeping track of the polls before someone gets voted off or even the message boards, Erik is the one who always pops up a being the unfavoured one. Why keep someone in there who the majority of Canada doesn't like when you could rather have someone who people actually enjoy watching, such as Tim or Casey Jo. I know everyone is always talking shit about Erik, but let's face it, no one really likes the guy.

But still, you're doing a really good job judging the vj's. You might come off as the jackass to some people, but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for these vj hopefuls that they probably won't ever get again and without the strong critisism that you're giving to them theres no other way that they can improve on what each of the judges think they're doing wrong.

Okay Robin Black I love you [not in THAT way ahaha] , but you guys made a BIG mistake kicking Tim off . I mean , okay yes Tim did not do a very great job on that interview , and when he got kicked off I was devestated but figured at least we'd get rid of Eric too . But nope , didn't happen . I realize Eric may have SOME talent to do this job , but what good is talent if no one is watching the show out of hate for the person ?

Anyways , I think you will see how much everyone loves Tim when he gets voted back on . I'm not going to go to the extreme and say "Oh i'm boycotting Much Music if Eric wins ." because that is kind of stupid I know I could not boycott it , but I'll be forced to do exactly what I do when Leah is on the air , change the channel . Plus I don't really watch Much Music all too much anyways , except for MOD [at times] , The Punk Show and Much Loud , since Much Music doesn't really play my type of music all too much [I like Jrock *smiles* and alot of bands that don't play on Much ] . If Tim doesn't win , I think I want Sean to win , anyone but Eric *nods* .

I think you are brutally honest, which I think is the way to go, you believe in Erik, who is the best VJ hopeful on the show, and to add on to all of that, YOU ARE HOTT! Haha. Please do whatever it takes to keep Erik on the show. It may be out of your hands now, but if you have any chance, you yourself know that he is the best and hardest working of them all!

i hate to say it, but i blame you for sending home tim. it seems like you get way too much say in the judging. like you will think someone did bad, but the other 3 judges disagree and then sure enough the person you think did bad gets sent home. for example, Larissa got sent home because you thought she was awful with her throws. but the other judges said she was fantastic and she still got sent home (but I let that one slide because i never liked larissa ). and when the finalists left the room at judging time you said " I think this is the end of the road for tim" and kardinall and traci both gasped and said "no way", and sure enough he got sent home. and secondly on the episode with larissa leaving, your final words were "Larissa you havent gotten along with anybody you've worked with", well Eric hasnt gotten along with ANYBODY at all, not once have you adressed that instead you say " i think you guys are afraid of his hustle" you've got to be kidding me. so you say Sean, casey jo, tim, frank, and larissa are all just scared of him. if anything, you as a judge, should be able to
see right through erik like all the finalists and 90% of canada can. but instead you are blinded by his bullshit. I cant even believe you got rid of tim. what were you thinking? what, you give frank 3 chances and tim only 1. tim has only been improving througbout the show and the very little flaws he has can be worked around easily. like he said he would be so willing to work on it if he became vj. where as eric cant change the fact that he is fake. tim wants the job so much more and for the right reasons and i cant believe, as a judge, you couldnt see that.

Wanted to read all the blogs written to you so I didn't repeat anything... but they're just too many:) Anyway... I'll get to the point. Love you overall: you are a great judge (not very consistent - but that's human). The best thing about you is that you're real!!!!! It comes across that you do the best you can to be honest... that's what we want in a VJ! That's what I truly see in Tim. After the show's over we need to have someone we can stand. It's almost ridiculous how much this contest matters to me. I love that MuchMusic differs from MTV in so many ways... we can't have it turn into a joke. We've generally been pretty lucky to have amazingly great, sincere, knowledgeable, likeable VJs. Tim reminds me of a couple of them... even George S. said in his interview for the first show that it's important to be honest - who's more respectable than him (really?). Tim will come out of his shell. I realize my vote will be based in what I believe his potential to be... but, I'd rather take that chance than put someone in there who will lower the standards of MuchMusic to that of a pathetic entertainment/tabloid show. The music is what matters at the end of the day... I want someone who knows the industry, who can teach me something new, and who I can trust (most people talk bullshit). Keep up the good work anyways. I'm right - you're wrong:)

I think you really need to read all of these posts and realize in everyone that the people are not only saying but SCREAMING get rid of Erik...do you really think putting someone the public despises into a job in which he has to interact with that very group of people is a smart idea...NO It isn't. Keeping him is a stupid stupid move as was letting Tim go...Bring Tim back Get rid of Erik and be done with that already.

Robin you are an amazing judge but you have seemed to have taken a wrong turn. Tim is a wonderful wannabe-VJ and Eric should have left with Casey-Jo instead. Tim is cute, adorable, and very professional. So what if he stumbled? He was nervous! He's talented and he could win this competition just like *snaps* THAT! If anyone should be voted back onto the final four its Tim, hands DOWN! and hes going to win this competition when he gets back on... hands DOWN! Hey Robin, well I must say you are by far the most interesting and watchable judge on the show...however, I must disagree with you- Nikki may be a beautiful girl but she is still as bland as ever and Erik? I think he'd be a wonderful "Brandon Walsh" if they ever decide to do a remake of 90210, but he doesn't have the edge or the personality to be a VJ. (And I wanted to gag when I watched his Molly interview- he was giving her f&&k me eyes the whole time)

It's a pretty safe bet that Tim is coming back into the Penthouse. It isn't just because he happens to be extremely good looking (because Erik is good looking too but most viewers seem to hate him) but because he IS just such a sweet, kind guy who was really upfront about his learning disability (which I'm sure a lot of viewers related to and appreciated) and he really gave it his all and came a long way. Tim will make the right VJ...sure, he needs to build up his confidence but we all love him and shouldn't this be about what we, the viewers, want to see?

today i was thinkin about the show and what happined and all ... but im still disapionted with you and the other judges!!! i just cant see why you guys kicked him off.... he even said he was willing to get better and shit !!! what i cant see is why wont you let him ... why wouldnt you give him another chance.. you guys were never hard on him at all .. its like you guys never even cared he was there... what pisses me off is that you guys paid more attention to the asshole erik and frank to really care about tim!!

OMG, I just realized what it is about Erik that brings out so much hate and what it is about Tim that brings out so much love:

Erik is like the cruel popular boy in highschool who throws pig blood on the weird outcast girl. Whereas, Tim is like the sweet cutie who asks the outcast girl to dance even though his friends don't approve.

So please kick Erik off and when Tim comes back (which he will) please make him our next VJ...for all us outcast hotties...;)

robin black! just wanna say i love watching you on TV, you're a great judge, and regardless of what people say about you you're doing a great job. haha, i laugh every time you throw your cards in the air. anyway, you were right to get rid of tim. what most of canada can't see is that to be a much vj you have to have certain skills, that tim just doesn't seem to have. he's a nice guy and he means well, but he conducts the worst interviews and can't direct them in any purposeful direction. and even if he says he IS confident, he doesn't come across as confident (most evident when he stumbles over words) and that's what matters. a lack of confidence seriously destroys any interview, and its definitely brought tim down.

i gotta say thanks to you and the rest of the judge panel for getting erik this far, because the rest of canada is too naive to see that he has the best attitude for the job, and the popular internet vote is that he should be sent off

CynthiaGorack I would take a fuck load more then who can start first into account. I would take personality, the ability to work as a team member, the ability to work alone, the quality of the job, his/her attitude, and so much more. You may think like that, but that doesn’t mean that everyone does. Also I have a lot of fucking respect for Robin, Traci, Steve and Kardinal. Who the fuck are you to tell ME if I do or do not respect them. And I have back Robin up on every fucking decision, except for eliminating Tim, so check your flippin’ facts next time before you go around accusing people of not having enough respect for the judges. Also, just because you disagree with something they said/did does not mean that they don’t have respect for that person, it simply means that they have a different opinion then they do.

i just finished reading your response blog and i cant believe you think he wasnt doing as good as the final 3. i mean i admit the final 3 may have done better but for sean thats only cause she was a model and clearly it was his time to shine. and for nikki, like you said she got fashion so in my opinion she got lucky. and erik is good at acting we all know that. but i do think eric is good. but he is not much music, he is more Entertainment tonight/star daily kinda host not a vj. and i dont blame tim at all for not flirting with molly sims. he probably felt it would be unproffesional. but as much as i liked casey jo, her time was up, you guys gave her 2 chances to fix her attittude and she kept saying that it wasnt who she truly was but she never came around to fixing that. anyways... bottom line was it should have been eric and not tim.

I'm not really sure what I think about this weeks show. I have to admit, a lot of them are improving. Casey-Jo and Sean have been disappointing me lately, talking trash all the time and what not. Erik is really starting to rock and not seem 'oh-so-cocky'. I mean think about it this way people, the other contestants are talking SHIT about him when he's right there and he doesn't even say anything or let it phase him. That's really impressive, Casey-Jo and Sean are acting like children. Most people would say immature like high school or juniour high, but no one I knew in Kitchener was really like that, hence why Tim's so sweet. Nikki, is improving a lot, however, she STILL doesn't grab my attention as much as some of the others do. Therefore, I'd either want Tim, Erik or Sean (even though he's being a little bitch) as the new VJ.

LOL, vodka eh? That's some good stuff right there, i prefer whiskey or jin though myself.

Anyways, Robin you're doing a superb job, keep rockin' in the world man. And kick some damn VJ ass man!!! I don't usually watch reality TV but I want to know who's going to be represnting us Canadian's, dude. I for one want them to make Canada look good, and our artists! Hell Yeah! This is what I see. First, I would really like to say to Robin thank you for the great job your doing under difficult circumstances. Secondly if Robin can take time out of his busy life to interact with us, that says alot also since I dont see any of the other judges giving us the same courtesy. So maybe everyone should think a little on that before you go "hatin" Robin because one of your favorites got kicked off. I live in Regina, I am gay, and I know Sean. With all of that you would expect that I am cheering for him right? Wrong. Tim is my choice but yet I do not go posting crap to Robin and crying the blues about it. I do disagree with his point of view on it but yet I am able to get past that and even invite him over for drinks(one caesar ready to go). You people need to realize also that this is a Reality show and they are famous for pulling stunts like this to get even better ratings. Ever think of that. Especially when they drop this wild card onto OUR laps to "fix" the situation. Enough said for now.

I don't know why the judges can't stop, for one second, to consider the fact that NO ONE LIKES ERIK. Yeah, he has skills, but will any of that matter when no one wants to watch him stress those skills as a VJ? I want to watch someone that I respect.. someone that I find charming, interesting, funny... and that's Tim. I can do with the fact that his interviewing skills are underdeveloped. I like to watch him improve. I like to see where MuchMusic can take him. But with someone like Erik, he can have the best interviewing skills ever, but it still won't matter to me, because I just don't like the guy.

Okay, I don't mind Nikki. I think she's fabulous. She's got great charisma. I enjoy her fashion trips and whatnot...

As for Shawn. He's boring. I find him repetitive and unnecessary. It's the same old complaints, same old jokes, same old phrases - used excessively. He's just annoying. Granted, he's not an asshole, but he's annoying.
