Since this week’s video is a bit of a retro-throwback in itself, I don’t feel so bad about having only discovered this Seether video for Careless Whisper (yes, it is a George Michael cover) almost a month after its release.
Guys, I think you have to see this. Remember the old Ataris/Nintendo video games? Add to that Seether trying to save the world from men-in-suits and deforesting lumberjacks, and you have this video. PLUS George Michael shows up in a pixel-cameo, as does… some sort of three-eyed Yoda. Definitely worth a watch, and the cover isn’t hard on the ears either!
This video is:
a) Awesome! Look, it’s pixelated Mr. T!
b) So cute! It’s like 80’s video games all over again!
c) Terrible. George Michael’s version was way better.
d) Like… uh… Seether who?
e) Meh, I don’t care about the song, but this video is great!

I think this version is better than the original, but the Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low), Juliet Simms (Automatic Loveletter), and 3OH!3 version is like 1000 X better than both of them. Both versions breathe new life into the song, but the Alex Gaskarth, Juliet Simms, and 3OH!3 version puts such a cool twist on the song.
