Whoa so cool - just stopped and chatted with Del Tha Funkee Homosapien and he was super laid back and cool!

He told me that when he worked with Gorillaz he didn’t even get to work with Damon Albarn. In fact he said that the rap tracks were already laid out when he got to the project, but Dan The Automator wasn’t satisfied with the rapper on the track so he asked Del because he knew that he would do a solid job!

Surprisingly Del admitted that he turned to a “How To Write A Hit Song” book for guidance and what resulted was that wicked Gorillaz track (Clint Eastwood.
