Want to attend our Degrassi premiere event?

July 13th, 2012

The Degrassi summer season kicks off Monday and that calls for a party! Much will be screening the first episode of Season 12 in our parking lot at 299 Queen Street West in Toronto and we want the biggest Degrassi fans (aka YOU) to be here!

The stars of Degrassi will be appearing on a special New.Music.Live. at 6 pm ET broadcast live from our parking lot. Afterwards, the cast will be hanging out all evening for photos, autographs and a live Q&A session! Then it’s time for the premiere screening at 10pm. Plus, we have a super special surprise immediately following the premiere exclusively for those fans in attendance. Shhhhh…

The fun starts at 6pm with NML and goes ‘til 11pm. If you’re 14 or older and can make it to Much HQ on Monday, then we want to see you! No need to RSVP, this event is open to the public!

Here are some important details to remember:

- The event is happening outside and we want you to be comfy for the big premiere! You’re welcome to bring a blanket, folding chair, and umbrella. Plus, don’t forget WATER, sunscreen, and a camera. It’s going to be hot (but maybe a bit wet) so come prepared to be outside.

- MuchMusic is located at 299 Queen St. West, Toronto, ON.

- The earliest you can line up is 12pm on Monday. The lineup starts on the southeast corner of Queen St. and Duncan St.

- No tents, please! We want to make sure everyone has an awesome view of the show.

- This event is happening rain or shine! If it’s raining, we’ll project the show in the Much environment. It will be “first come, first served” as there’s limited space in the studio.

- Smile! We’ll be taking photos all night long, so don’t forget to check out our gallery on Facebook that will be updated shortly after the event. Tag yourself in a photo and share it to make all your friends jealous!

- Autograph sessions will take place inside the Virgin Store at Much. We’ll be making announcements throughout the night to let you know about each autograph and photo session.

Don’t forget! If you’re not able to make it to the event, you can watch the Q&A at MuchMusic.com/Degrassi starting at 9pm ET, followed by the Degrassi summer season premiere at 10pm ET.
