Is Jesse McCartney the latest celebrity to launch a fragrance? The singer and actor tweeted a photo yesterday with the caption “On set for my new fragrance Wanted.” The photo shows him surrounded by a bevy of beautiful women in what appears to be a red carpet setting.

Jesse has actually been talking about launching a fragrance for a while now. News about “Wanted” first leaked in 2008 when he was promoting his last album. There was even a campaign poster released (showing a water drop-inspired bottle and Jesse doing his best “smize” in the back). But 2009 and 2010 came and went and there was no sign of it on store shelves. Now it seems like plans for the perfume are back in motion.

According to previous reports, Jesse was actively involved in creating the fragrance, as well as in the choice of its notes. The fragrance opens with a sweet-fresh combination of bergamot and apple, with jasmine and rose in the heart, finishing with cedar, musk and amber.
