We laughed, we cried, we got sunburns and we got soaked! Our fantastic voyage landed us in the flats at Arrow Hall in Mississauga, Ontario - a welcome change from the dust clouds of the past few years at Molson Park In Barrie. I was definitely skeptical about this year’s venue, but the parking lot provided adequate space and Arrow hall shielded those not brave enough to face the torrential downpour.
First Up - From First To Last

Those who arrived early got a taste of a newly retooled FFTL with guitarist Matt Good taking over Lead vocal duties. They squeezed at least one song from each album into their set and I can definitely say I don’t miss former front man/complainer Sonny Moore.
Protest The Dunk Tank

Tim from Protest The Hero stays cool in the heat by having fans blast tennis balls at his dunk tank target.
Say Anything - sing-a-long

Max Bemis & the boys had everyone singing along to their classics “Alive with the Glory of Love” & “Every Man Has a Molly”.
Norma Jean - Mississauga will be laid to waste

I heard some new tunage from Norma Jean’s upcoming album “The Anti Mother” on their MySpace page and wasn’t really blown away. Well, the new songs sounded awesome live and during their hardcore staple “Memphis Will be Laid to Waste” I witnessed the craziest dance floor of the day.

Taking a spin-kick to the eye is just the Warped Tour way of showing the band you love them.
The Academy Is… - Attention attention can we have all your eyes and ears?

William Beckett melts every girl’s heart in attendance with his voice comparable only to that of an angel.
Every Time I Die - Boys, shoot to thrill from the hip

Buffalo’s own Every Time I Die delivered what I thought to be the best set of the day. Warped Tour Bad Boy Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes joined them on stage to help sing their Guitar Hero II favourite “The New Black”. Midway through their set the sky turned black and it rained like a mofo.
Shwayze - Buzzin’ all over me

This was the last act I was able to check out for the day because the rain threatened to kill our poor camera. These dudes looked like they were having an awesome time on stage despite the weather. They have a new show coming out on MTV called “Buzzin’” so keep your eyes peeled for that.
There was tons of other fun stuff to do at Warped. Our assistant to the regional manager (MuchMusic.com gopher for the day) Jake tried to tame a wild Schick razor.

And now allow me to present you with our Warped Tour image gallery.
Don’t forget to upload your Warped Tour Photos to Show Me Yours!

I think I spent 50$ dunking that guy in the tank. He just really looked like he needed a bath
