Today we have our first look at the highly anticipated film Spring Breakers, which follows four bored girls gone bad during a spring break trip. Starring Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine, the film is set to make its debut at the Venice Film Festival in the coming weeks, but we have a clip from Spring Breakers today.

The clip shows a much darker side for all four actresses, especially Gomez, who is known for her rise to fame on Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place. Both Tisdale and Benson have also made their mark in Hollywood with family-friendly shows and films, including High School Musical and Pretty Little Liars. With Kids director Harmony Korine behind the camera, movie-goers can expect and dark and visceral look at teenage wasteland.

Spring Breakers also stars James Franco as a local drug dealer who comes to the girls’ aid when they’re arrested during Spring Break in Florida. In addition to the Venice Film Festival, Spring Breakers will also be screened at TIFF.
