Justin Bieber shows off his acting chops in the trailer for his upcoming music video for As Long As You Love Me. The song will be the second official single off Bieber’s 2012 album Believe and features Justin starring opposite actor Michael Madsen in the short film.

In the trailer, Madsen plays the protective father of Bieber’s girlfriend and warns the singer to stay away from his daughter. The scene flashes to images of Bieber and Madsen fighting, as well as Justin calling his girlfriend from a payphone with a rucksack, likely wanting her to skip town with him. I’d answer the call. But that’s just me…and about a bazillion Beliebers.

Justin tweeted a link to the YouTube clip today, promising the full video to arrive worldwide this Wednesday. Justin performed As Long As You Love Me along with his first Believe single Boyfriend Sunday night at the Teen Choice Awards, where he took home surfboards for Best Single By a Male Artist for Boyfriend and Best Male Artist.

The full video for As Long As You Love Me is set to premiere on Muchmusic.com at 8 am ET on Wednesday, August 1.
