Having sold over 1.5 million copies of their self-titled debut, London’s The xx continued to make big waves out of minimal music this week when their second album debuted the top five of both Canadian and American charts, as well as reach #1 in the UK. Their music is hushed, delicate and warm, and when members Jamie Smith and Romy Madley-Croft stopped by MuchMusic to chat, it was apparent that it’s all a reflection of their low-key personalities.
