Watch another episode of Metric’s mini-documentary

Earlier this week, we posted the first episode of Metric’s mini-documentary, which will be going up online in chunks in the upcoming weeks. Today, the Toronto quartet premiered the second installment of this multi-chaptered look inside the band’s latest album Synthetica.

This clip follows the band into the studio as they put together the album and band members discuss guitarist Jimmy Shaw’s role in producing this record (he’s had a hand in producing all of the band’s past records). Lead singer Emily Haines also touches on the much talked about topic of gender and sexuality in the music industry.
