Watch Austra’s Pussy Riot Protest Video

Russian punk group Pussy Riot were convicted today of some BS charge described as “hooliganism motivated by religious hatred or hostility.” They will serve a two-year sentence for performing an anti-Putin protest song inside of a Russian Orthodox cathedral. The good news is that they were able to laugh their way through the verdict, because really, it’s a farce.

The three members have received overwhelming support all across the world. Included is Toronto’s Austra, who made a protest video in the name of Pussy Riot’s freedom. Watch it below.
