Watch Diamond Rings get a makeover

What do you get when you mix Dennis Rodman, Salt-n-Pepa, David Bowie, Grace Jones, Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation and Usher? How about Diamond Rings, a Toronto-based artist who has risen up out of the independent music scene boasting DIY talents to become one of Canada’s hottest rising stars.

Diamond Rings (aka John O’Regan) sat down with MuchMusic (and his stylist/cousin Lisa Howard) to discuss his philosophy on music (his debut album, Special Affections is out now), image and message and how pushing boundaries is what keeps him driven. Oh, and he also gets a makeover!
