When you wish someone a belated birthday, you’d better make it count. And Lady Gaga made it count. Former U.S. President Bill Clinton turned 65 August 19th, but celebrated the event this past weekend to be serenaded by none other than mother monster herself. And she made it worth the wait.
The popstar remixed her popular “Bad Romance” to “Bill Romance” in what many are calling ‘channeling Marilyn Munroe’ ala her sexy birthday tribute to then U.S. President John F Kennedy in 1962.
In other words, is was hella sexy! She even gave a shout out for his love of the saxophone, singing the line “I wish you were playing sax with me tonight, baby.”
Clinton was more than impressed with the tribute, saying “”I thought, ‘My God. I get Lady Gaga, and I will have a heart attack celebrating my 65th birthday…I am the only person in history who got to be president and then had a post-presidential birthday party attended by both Lady Gaga and the secretary of state [wife Hilary Clinton].”
The belated celebration also held a performance by U2′s Bono and The Edge.
