February 13th, 2009

Valentine’s Day is one of those weird holidays that’s never as much fun as you think it’s going to be.
If you’re single, you spend the entire day being reminded that you don’t actually have a significant other. Sure, you’ll pretend that you don’t care, because who wants to be stuck being in a relationship when you’re having “so much fun” being single. But, at the end of the day, you’re the one sitting by yourself watching reruns of “That’s So Raven”.
If you’re in a relationship, there’s the dreaded pressure of having to find some sort of present or gift to show your love for someone who you probably see everyday anyway. Flowers are cliché, and nobody wants candy. Flat screen TVs are too expensive, and teddybears are for sick people in hospital.
That’s why MOD is here to help! Meet Stacy.
(Where is this going? Click for more)

She’s 19, just ended a two and a half year relationship, and she’s looking for a date.
We’re recruiting guys to come down to MOD today for the chance to win a date with Stacy! All you have to do is show up, looking your best. (Chace Crawford, preppy types to the front of the line – that’s Stacy’s request, not mine.)
Check out the show and see if we’re able to hook Stacy up with a love match. This is probably not going to be an everlasting love – hell, it might not last much longer than the hour that MOD’s on air – but, watching someone going through the uncomfortable process of first date is guaranteed to make you feel a bit happier that you’re still single.
