The boys of One Direction are gearing up to perform for the first time at Thursday’s MTV VMAs and that means even more videos for my fellow Directioners and I to enjoy. Today’s video features each member getting their own 58 seconds of heavenly screen time. The following are things I have learned from watching all five videos of the One Direction guys walking in slow motion to promote Thursday’s 2012 MTV VMAs (watch ‘em on MUCH starting at 7 pm ET with the red carpet).

1. Harry likes to speak in slow motion.
2. Zayn would be the first to lose in a stare-off. He is easily the busiest blinker in the band.
3. Liam seems to enjoy walking in slow motion the most out of all the band members.
4. Niall is an excellent sideways walker. It’s a thing.
5. Louis agrees that slow motion walking is ridiculous.
6. And the most important thing I learned watching all five videos is that MTV knew I would watch all five videos of cute boys walking in slow motion. You win again, MTV.

Watch the guys in One Direction perform at a normal speed when they make their MTV VMA debut this Thursday at 8 pm ET on Much. Tune into the red carpet show on Thursday beginning at 7 pm ET.
