Watch Penn Badgely in Greetings From Tim Buckley

Premiering at this month’s Toronto International Film Festival, Penn Badgely’s role as the late Jeff Buckley in Greetings From Tim Buckley has finally see the light of day with a brand new trailer. The film follows a few weeks in the life of Jeff Buckley, when in 1991 he was invited to participate in a tribute concert to his father in New York City at St. Mark’s Church. It was at this event that the young Buckley first performed, solidifying his place in music’s history books.

Judging by the trailer it appears that the film does not touch on Jeff Buckley’s rise to fame or his untimely death, but will instead focus on the untold story of Buckley’s complicated relationship with his folk-singer father.

In addition to Greetings From Tim Buckley, you can watch Penn Badgely in the final season of Gossip Girl beginning Monday, October 8th at 6 pm ET on MUCH.
