Watch: Pitchfork’s mini-doc on Toro y Moi

South Carolina’s Chaz Bundick, aka Toro y Moi, is the subject of a new mini-documentary or Documentocero, if you will, produced by Pitchfork. The five-minute clip interviews Bundick about his influences, his approach to designing Toro y Moi’s artwork, why he assembled a band to perform live and what direction he is headed next. Also included is a recorded live performance of “Go With You,” from his 2011 album, Underneath the Pine.

Toro y Moi will be playing some shows in Canada this September, in support of his upcoming EP, Freaking Out (out September 13th): Montreal’s Le National on September 17th, Toronto’s Opera House on the 18th, and Vancouver’s Venue on the 29th.
