Jay-Z protégé and Roc Nation signee J. Cole has been one of the most talked about new stars in hip-hop for a couple years now. His debut album is set to drop on September 27th, and recently RapCity had a chance to sit down with him during a stop in Toronto.

T-RexXx caught up with J. Cole to talk about how the Lion King theme of his recent mixtape Return of Simba represents him, how time plays a role in his life and what exactly his album title will be.
