Watch the 2012 Polaris Music Prize this Monday

The 2012 Polaris Music Prize is going down Monday night and you can watch it all right here at 8 pm ET on MuchMusic.com. This year’s nominees include an amazing short list of Canadian talent, including Drake, Feist, Kathleen Edwards, Cadence Weapon, Cold Specks, Grimes, Handsome Furs, Fucked Up, Japandroids and Yamantaka // Sonic Titan.

The Polaris Music Prize judging panel is comprised of active members in Canadian journalism and media fields who short list 10 nominees from a list of 40 artists. The Polaris Music Prize is not-for-profit organization that honours, celebrates and rewards creativity and diversity in Canadian recorded music. The winning artist receives $30,000 and bragging rights for the best Canadian album of the past year.
