Finale Friday 7E/4P
April 4th, 2011

Saturday night it was the end of an era when LCD Soundsystem played their final concert as a band.
Held at the legendary Madison Square Garden, James Murphy and co performed three sets and two encores that clocked in at a staggering three hours and 40 minutes. Playing virtually every song in their catalogue, they even performed their Nike exercise soundtrack “45:33,” as well as covers by Daft Punk, Yes, 10CC and Alan Vega. Showing their support, former tourmates Arcade Fire joined in to back them up on “North American Scum.”
Luckily for everyone that wasn’t there, Pitchfork.tv shot the whole concert, which you can watch below. You can also see photos from Pitchfork‘s slide show over at Facebook.
