Watch the making of M.I.A.’s video for Bad Girls

Teaming up with her Born Free director Romain Gavras for her latest single Bad Girls, M.I.A. takes fans behind the scenes on the making of her gravity defying homage to cars. After seeing Bad Girls for the first time I, like many people, assumed I was looking at special affects and visual trickery. But this behind the scenes special on the making of the music video shows just how real the drifting, skating and donut stunts are that extras in the video perform.

This is easily one of the most interesting behind the scenes videos I’ve watched in a long time and it doesn’t hurt that the often serious M.I.A. is shown in a more carefree and relaxed setting. Check out the behind the scenes video for Bad Girls as well as the full video below.
