MSN UK has exclusively released a second trailer for Derek Cianfrance’ s The Place Beyond the Pines, starring Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper and Eva Mendes. The crime thriller follows Luke (Ryan Gosling), a motorcycle stunt rider who turns to robbing banks in order to provide for his family. Hot on his tracks is rookie police officer, Avery Cross (Bradley Cooper). This new trailer gives the audience a glimpse into Luke and his personal struggles. He appears to have a tough exterior, but shows his soft side when he is with his family.

Gosling may have announced his break from acting, but fans can still look forward to his four upcoming projects. Besides Pines, he will also be in Nicolas Winding Refn’s Only God Forgives and Terence Malick’s upcoming untitled film.The 32-year-old actor is also going behind the camera to direct his first feature, How to Catch a Monster. So the next two years are pretty much guaranteed to satisfy Ryan Gosling fans.

The Place Beyond the Pines begins with a limited run on March 29, before its wide release on April 12.
