‘Watch The Throne’ & Listen To The Samples

It’s no secret that like 95% of the instrumentals we hear in hip-hop songs are samples from other songs. Sometimes the reason the song is sampled is because it’s really popular and it gives the song a familiar sound. But The best producers can find snippets of many songs and string them together to create something completely new. The ability to hear a piece of music and then imagine it with a different sound, mix, context and actually build it is an art form in itself.
