Ice T delves into the heart of rap music in Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap and discuses how rap went from a movement to a way of life by talking to some of raps greatest artists who made their mark on the history of music with their beats, rhymes and stories.

The film features exclusive interviews with Eminem, KRS-One, Mos Def, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Nas, Xzibit, Common, Kanye West, Q-Tip, Redman, Bun B, Raekwon, Marley Marl, Big Daddy Kane, Joe Budden and many more. Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap debuted at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and will see a wide release in theatres on June 15, 2012.
