Today marks the release date of the new TV On the Radio album, Nine Types of Light. In case you haven’t yet decided to buy it and need some convincing, well you can now hear the entire thing… as a film.
Yes, having previously announced that they will be releasing a movie companion to their new album, the band have posted it on YouTube. The hour-long flick, simply titled Nine Types of Light, is actually ten music videos for each of the album’s songs.
While the videos themselves were directed by a handful of filmmakers, the film was directed by vocalist Tunde Adebimpe, who also helmed the video for the song “Forgotten.”
