Our soon-to-be fave show
August 25th, 2014
Tuesday’s Summer Finale of Pretty Little Liars is going to feature a pretty big crime – the murder of a Rosewood resident. Okay, okay, we don’t actually know that it will be a ‘murder’ and not an accidental death, but on Pretty Little Liars people usually end up six feet under as a result of murder. It’s really not a great place to live.
The list of crimes committed in Rosewood is long, and though the crimes are usually serious in matter, sometimes they’re not. Sometimes they are fashion-related.
We love that Pretty Little Liars is always pushing boundaries with its fashion, dressing characters in trend-creating outfits. We’ve definitely done our best to emulate the styles of Hanna, Aria, Emily and Spencer over the show’s five seasons, but with great fashions risks comes great fashion crimes. We love these almost as much as the risks.
Here are a few of our favourite fashion crimes committed on Pretty Little Liars. Don’t miss the Summer Finale this Tuesday at 8E/5P on M3.
Pretty Little Liars appears to have single-handily taken on a crusade to bring knee-high socks back into fashion. No matter the character, occasion or outfit, knee socks are there. Enough with the knee socks.
So many knee socks.
If Snooki was cast in a remake of the Dolly Parton film 9-5, this neon leopard sweater set would be her wardrobe.
We know that Hanna has been going through a lot this season, but drinking during the day is causing her to dress like a hot mechanic and we’re not feeling it.
Aria can’t even face this pink leopard, satin varsity jacket.
We love Emily’s leather shorts, we love her navy bomber, and we love her Hawaiian sports shirt. We just don’t love them together.
There’s so much going on with Aria’s outfit that we don’t even have time to talk about Spencer’s outfit.
Not even a gold medal can make this trench, which would look great on someone twice Aria’s age, a winner.
Pretty Little Liars is known for their Halloween episodes, but Hanna’s orange and black outfit is scaring us for different reasons.
Aria is hoping to confuse ‘A’ with wearing as many patterns at once. We’re a bit confused too.
Speaking of confusion, not even Aria understands what she’s wearing right now.
