* Gadzooks! GI Joe and Star Trek have both received the green light for sequels. 80’s babies and Trekkies rejoice!

* American Idol was the show to watch last night! Over 30 million viewers tuned in to see the first episode of the show’s 9th season. Somewhere Paula Abdul is kicking herself and Ellen DeGeneres is rolling on a pile of money.

* Katy Perry and Avril Lavigne are literally the new faces of ProActiv. You ain’t cool unless you pee your pants! I mean, use ProActiv.

*After having ten procedures in one day, Heidi Montag says that she is obsessed with plastic surgery. I wonder how many surgeries it takes to remove a Spencer Pratt?

* Robert Downey Jr. is on board for the Sherlock Holmes sequel. The project has been approved after the massive 300 million dollars in box office sales for the first Sherlock Holmes. As for the release date of the sequel, it’s a mystery.
