Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo hurt in bus crash

Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo was hospitalized after a bus crash this weekend.

The frontman was left with three broken ribs, an injured leg and internal damage after his tour bus hit a patch of ice and ended up in a ditch off the I-90 in New York State.

The band were on their way to Boston after playing Toronto’s Air Canada Centre Saturday night. Cuomo’s personal assistant was also injured in the crash, while his wife and baby were shaken but fine.

Weezer have been forced to cancel the rest of their December tour dates.
