WGA – Why We Fight

Your weekly dosages of new television may be soon to disappear, thanks to the writers’ strike in Hollywood. Already, late night talk shows are in repeats and before you know it, The Office will be replaced with “Are You Funnier Than A Dog”, Heroes will give way to “Edible Or Not Edible” and Gossip Girl will be switched out for “Whose Pants Are These, Anyway?” Yeah, it’s true: no writers = more reality TV.

The Writers Guild of America put up a video on YouTube called “Why We Fight”, and it clearly explains why they’re striking. If you’ve been feeling disgruntled, don’t – when you discover that they’re only asking for $0.04 more per DVD sale and internet stream (that’s like, .05c Canadian!), you can’t help but want to join their picket lines immediately.

Yes, Tina Fey, I’ll FIGHT FOR YOU!
