Japanese brand ICB and major designer Prabal Gurung debuted a new collection last week, but that isn’t the story we’re looking to capture. We’re more interested in how these guys did it; the collection was showcased on a virtual runway and the show was completely streamed online.

Now this may not seem like huge news, but dig a little deeper into the logistics of it all, and this could change fashion forever!

Although Prabal Gurung may be the first to debut a collection online, he might not be the last. Think of the convenience this could afford for fashion editors around the world. Instead of rushing into the chaos of any city’s fashion week, they could simply sit at home and watch the newest Alexander McQueen collection unfold right on their computer screen. Zooming in and out, pausing, rewinding and fast-forwarding are all options as well. And, the images will be immediately available after the show.

If this were available to all the fashion blogs out there, the Internet would probably explode! Think of how quick bloggers would be able to rip or rave about their favourite designers. This technologically advanced presentation could change blogging forever! You heard it here first!
