Where The Wild Things Are premiered in New York last night. Producer Tom Hanks, Forest Whitaker, Lauren Ambrose, author Maurice Sendak and director Spike Jonze were all on the red carpet.

Max Records, who plays the character Max in the movie, talked about working with all the kids on the set.

“Like every day there were probably a good four kids on set or something and then there were all the Australian actors who were just like kids and then, and then there’s Spike of course and he’s kind of in a league of his own.”

Where The Wild Things Are hits theatres on Friday.
