Who Should Play Superman? You Decide!

Should it be a Twilight vamp or a Mad Man? Maybe a former Man of Steel? Throw in a Trekkie, some Royal Blood, a White Collar actor and a Gossip Guy and you got yourself a competition. Plus there’s always room for someone new.

I’ve scoured the internet and found out the names of who fans want to don the red and blue suit and who Warner Brothers is thinking of for the role. They’ve finally moved forward with a Superman reboot titled “The Man of Steel”. And it was recently announced “300” and “Watchmen” director Zack Synder will bring the character to life for a new generation.

Now the big question is…who should play the man of steel? Sound off in the comments and we’ll see who gets the most votes. If you don’t see the perfect actor listed here, name him in the comments section. And don’t be afraid to choose the usually favoured option “bring in a newcomer”.

Where you’ve seen him recently: Scott Pilgrim Versus The World
Likelihood: He wasn’t the reason the last Superman flopped…but unfortunately for him that stank don’t disappear….

Tom Welling
Where you’ve seen him recently: Smallville (and most recently producing Hellcats!)
Likelihood: He’s been playing Clark Kent for years now…he probably wants to do something else

Jon Hamm
Where you’ve seen him recently: Mad Men / The Town
Likelihood: He’d be great if he was a little bit younger (he’s 39 or something)

Matt Bomer
Where you’ve seen him recently: White Collar
Likelihood: I don’t see a problem here – do you?

Henry Cavill
Where you’ve seen him recently: The Tudors
Likelihood: just like Marvel went with an American for Captain America, I think Warner Brothers will probably go with an American actor for their patriotic superhero (he’s British).

Kellan Lutz
Where you’ve seen him recently: a little movie called Twilight
Likelihood: if he can rock glasses this could work

Chris Pine
Where you’ve seen him recently: he’s been in other stuff recently but we all know him from Star Trek
Likelihood: I don’t know….maybe he could be Clark Kent?

Armie Hammer
Where you’ve seen him recently: The Social Network as the twins (and he was the villainous Gabriel on Gossip Girl)
Likelihood: word on the web is he doesn’t look American enough (he more European looking)
