The Brits seem to love their Kate Nash (she debuted last week at #1 on the UK charts). She’s now crossed the big blue ocean and we here at Much have her album, Made of Bricks, as a First Spin.
I’m about on my third spin with this album and I love it. It follows in the footsteps of other British songstresses as of late such as Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse, but also with a dash of Sophie Ellis Bextor (”Murder On The Dancefloor,” anyone?) - yet maintains a flair of refreshing originality.
LISTEN TO IT! It’s boppy, poppy, cheeky fun - a combo that only the Brits can seem to pull off. Stand-out songs are “Foundations,” “Mouthwash,” and “We Get On.”
You likey? Me lovey.

Kate Nash? We know her. She’s the actor that can perform music better than she can act.
What we’ve been wondering since this time last year was “Who the eff is George?”
