Who will be the next Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and more in 2011?

With so much amazing music from new artists already burning up the charts in 2011 it’s time to make predictions as to who is going to blow up this year. Comparisons can sometimes be insulting if an artist thinks they sound nothing like the person they are being compared to, but I think anyone on this list that is still in the minors would be happy to be compared to music’s homerun hitters.

Yes, I know there will never be another Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Robyn, etc., but there are some up and comers that have had the door opened for them as a result of the success of pop stars before them.

Let’s take a look at who is going to be the next (blank) in 2011!

Other than the obvious fact that they're both young, British singers, Cher Lloyd and Lily Allen have a lot in common. Both singers implement a rap-talk element into their music, with Cher moving more towards rapping. Their street look and no-bs attitude have garnered some comparisons. But it's their self confidence both on stage and in front of the media that makes Cher the future Lily Allen.
