Will.i.Am and Britney Spears get futuristic in Scream and Shout

After working together on X Factor this season (Britney as a judge and mentor and Will.i.am as her special guest), the two musicians continued their partnership into the studio to record the understated dance track Scream and Shout. Spears debuted the music video last night on X Factor and now the clip has made it’s way online.
Taking cues from Michael and Janet Jackson’s history making video Scream and even borrowing a bit from Spear’s video for Three, the Scream and Shout visuals are simplistic, but engaging, with Spears looking the best she has in years.
Delivering her signature ‘Britney bitch’ line and singing in what sounds like an English accent for some of the song (Madonna would be proud), Will.i.Am’s vocals make up the majority of the track with not nearly enough of Britney. Still, the song is catchy and chill, which seems a bit backwards for a track called Scream and Shout.
