Jada Pinkett Smith revealed recently that her hubby, Will Smith, would like to get into politics. Jada went on to say that Will would like to be President someday. Hey, if the Terminator can be Governor, why can’t the Fresh Prince be President? I rest my case.

In honour of Will’s desire to be President, I have taken the liberty of re-writing the classic theme from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Please hum along as you read.

This is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I’d liked to take a minute
And sit right there
And tell you how I became the Prez of town called US

In west Philadelphia born and raised
Moved to Hollywood, wore lots of neon and got some good praise
I was a Fresh Prince, a Bad Boy and I liked the Colour of Money
Loved all the fame and fortune but I really loved honies
Had a family with Jada and hung out with celebs
Let Jazzy Jeff use my pool house as his bed
I made a ton of money, but my wife would just stress
She said your calling all your friends and becoming the Prez of US

I whistled for a car
And when it came near
The license plate said Prez and it had a bulletproof mirror
If anything I can say this car is free
But I thought naw forget it, yo homes to DC!

I pulled up to the Whitehouse about 7 or 8
And I yelled to the security, yo homes, get my back!
I looked at my colonial
I was finally there
To sit on at my desk as the Prez of US
