Late last summer I told you guys about The Gaslight Anthem‘s white hot album The ’59 Sound, which graced dozens of critics’ “Best of 2008″ lists and satisfied true blue punk rock fans everywhere with its solid rock jams and gooey hooks. I’m hard pressed to find a single media outlet that’s given The ’59 Sound a score less than 8/10, so you can trust that the album is a winner.

The Gaslight Anthem are in Toronto this Friday to play a sold out show at The Opera House, and the only excuse you have for not being there is that you either couldn’t get a ticket in time or you’ll be busy seeing Cut Copy rip up the dancefloor at Circa that same night.
