Win Wristbands Tomorra!

See the Queen Street parking lot stage? Don’t it look all purdy? I reckin’ it’ll look even purdier on Sunday night once it’s complete! Speaking of Sunday night, are ye still looking to score a wristband? Well good, cause Breakfast Television is giving away 50 of ‘em tomorrow morning. If you’re 14 and older (with ID to prove), come to Queen & John TOMORROW MORNING at 7AM - the 50 loudest fans will nab wristbands! Hey, if you want it that bad, rolling out of bed at 6am isn’t so bad.

In other news, the John St stage is being so lazy. This is what it looks like right now - only three days to go before it has to be done!

i dont think it is fair that only if your in toronto you get ristbands.i think you should charge like 5$ or have a contest for 50 bands.

Cool! That’s crazy how fast those guys are working, and they have to, ’cause the shows only a few days away, it’s so rushed.

I was wondering if there were going to be any preformers doing soundcheck the next few days? What days do you suggest I could pass by and see some celebs doing their thang around the Chum City building?

i have always wanted to go to the mmva’s but my doctors have always said i could’nt go cause i was still too sick. now that im better i cant even get my dream spot within arms reach of the stars! it sucks hardcore! i still love much music even if my dreams are crushed. i cant go to to btv cause i live in kitchener. it sucks!

Pass by on Sunday, everyone does soundcheck that day, last year got to see Nelly Furtado n Timba n Fall Out Boy, was prety awesome! Can’t wait for this year! Even tho all the sexi ladies are on the main stage which is TOTALLY RIGGED! They always get the good performers! But we got THE USED!!!!

seen your queen st stage thursday night the lighting is phenominal beautiful set. dont have wristband so guess im not gonna get a glimpse of the celebs its all good i will still go to the queen and john intersection just to hear the bands. if i were blind id still go to concerts to hear the music witch is excatly what im going to do this sunday have a great show

Jake you do not have to be in toronto to get wristbands. If you came down last saturday you would have been able to get one. My friend from oshawa came down on the saturday and ended up getting one for the standing room only area of the parking lot. PLOT 07 I think it says.

A very close friend of mine has been so helpful and supportive of me over the last few weeks (I had hit rock bottom, the lowest point ever in my life). I have a substance abuse problem which I am recovering from and she has been there for me, being nonjudgmental and selfless; the greatest asset I could have hoped for in my time of need. Without her I may not have seen the light. I would love to do something special for her to say thank you and was thinking of taking her to the MMVAs. Either way it will be fun, but I would do anything if I could get a couple of wristbands. I would be forever in someone’s debt. I will even pay for them if I have to, that’s how much she means to me and I want her to know how much of an impact she had/is still having in my recovery!

No more wristbands! But still come down and hang out in the street, you can totally still see the bands. Just means you won’t be in the parking lot.

Now i know this sounds kind of crazy but my family have just decided to go to the mmvas and we are flying there tomrow and the crazy party is we just decided this and are plane doesnt get there till 7:30 am so now its impossible for us to get wristbands.. is there anyway you guys down at much can help us. PLEAAASE this has always been a dream of ours!
