Winehouse Does Bond

It is being reported that Amy Winehouse will be teaming up with friend and super-producer Mark Ronson for the theme song of the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, which hits theatres in November.

This. Is. Amazing.

Amy Winehouse, with her old-school sound, is obviously a perfect fit for the usually dark, big-band title sequences that accompany the James Bond films - she definitely has some Shirley Bassey in her.

I’m looking forward to see what the duo comes up with. In the meantime, here is a quick look (emphasis on “quick”) at all the James Bond title sequences of movies past - some instantly recognizable, some not so much:

    But I disagree; Amy Winehouse is a dirty singer and shouldn’t be involved with any James Bond theme.

    (She’s the drunk weirdo that wandered off during a MOD interview, right?)
